Our Approach to Early Learning

Programs Tailored to Your Child’s Development
We offer two main age-specific programs designed to meet the developmental needs of your child:
Little Learners Room (2-3 years): This program supports children as they explore new challenges and develop essential skills. Our qualified educators provide stimulating, interest-based activities that promote investigation and exploration in a nurturing environment. We also offer nappy and toilet training support as needed.
School Smart Room (3-5 years): Our preschool program focuses on preparing children for a smooth transition to kindergarten. Children engage in fun, hands-on activities that build literacy, numeracy and social skills. Our educators create an individualised approach to learning that motivates and empowers each child.
Preparing for School Success
We offer a comprehensive School Readiness Program, integrating essential skills to ensure children are prepared for their transition to school. From developing self-esteem and confidence to fostering independence and positive social interactions, we ensure your child is ready for the academic and social challenges ahead. We also collaborate with local primary schools to provide children with the confidence and skills needed for school success.
Health, Nutrition and Support
We believe that health and well-being are essential to learning. Our centre provides a nutritious menu, offering hot meals, snacks and healthy beverages approved by the NSW Government’s Munch and Move initiative. We also offer free eye testing, speech screenings and yearly dental check-ups for all children.
Family-Centred Care
At Valley Heights, we encourage family input and participation in our programs. We offer before and after-school care, vacation care and homework support for children attending local schools in Green Valley.
