My Time, Our place

Valley Heights Preschool Long Day Care Centre utilises ‘My Time, Our Place – Framework for School Age Care in Australia’ to provide children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in life. The Framework is linked to ‘The Early Years Learning Framework’ working in partnership with children, families and the community, including schools  and aims to extend and enrich children’s wellbeing and development encouraging children’s growing sense of Belonging, Being and Becoming.

The Frameworks 5 learning goals:

Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world.
Outcome 3: Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.
Outcome 4: Children are confident and involved learners.
Outcome 5: Children are effective communicators.
